All the benefits of breathwork session without needing to leave your home.

For your first session if you’ve never experienced breathwork before, allow 90 minutes for the complete session which typically contains around 15-20 minutes to explain the technique/process and answer any questions you may have, the active breathwork session plus post session grounding time.

Considerations

  • Make the space free from distractions such as
    • Move any pets to another room
    • No Amazon or grocery deliveries planned
    • Other household members in another room
  • Allow at least an hour after a meal
  • You have space to lie down comfortably

Words of Advice

I have been teaching  regular group and individual/couples breathwork sessions since 2022 and during this time all I have seen was positive growth. The same applies to the strong body of scientific research on the subject of breathwork, showing the many benefits of this transformational practice.

At the same time, breathwork might trigger powerful physical and emotional responses. Therefore, it is recommended that you talk to your doctor before practicing conscious connected breathwork if you have, or have a history of:

  • cardiovascular disease (any issues heart-related)
  • high blood pressure
  • glaucoma
  • retinal detachment
  • osteoporosis
  • recent surgery
  • history of panic attacks,
  • severe mental illness
  • seizure disorders
  • family history of aneurysms
  • asthma (and make sure you have your inhaler next to you during the session).
  • Pregnant women or breastfeeding women should also consult with their doctor.
